Lindsay isn't here right now...
Im bad at blogging. I hate writing or...er...typing. I like to read blogs but when it comes to writing, im much better at postings pictures. Bleh. I also have a t.v addiction. I really admire people that do things with their lives. As for me....i can get completely consumed with "That 70's Show".

HALF way there
I have exactly one more month left. Only ONE week of the death phase....then three weeks of phasing off in which i add back things like: eggs, all vegetables, bread, fruit and yogurt. I am very excited and i only have ten more pounds to lose...then any weight i want to lose after that ill just lose gradually. Ill be happy in ten pounds...20 would be perfect but ive been the weight im aiming for when i was in highschool and i looked pretty good.
* also tonight, my C-group girls told me i looked like i lost weight when i mentioned im on a diet. They said they noticed all along but didnt want to "hurt my feelings" by saying i looked smaller. haha NO OFFENSE TAKEN!!

Day 27
Today i was sleeping wonderfully when my mom dragged me out of bed to go outside in the THIRTY SIX degree weather to help with her garage sale. i wanted to die.so.bad.
But then i went back inside, layed on my bed ( still wearing my boots) and passed out into another beautiful sleep. When i woke up i drank my whey and helped some more with the garage sale....but then i got really bored, so i worked out at the Y for an hour...i just came home and my hair is soaking wet from my shower and i have to meet lauren at Thames running track at 6:30. yes, today is a double work out day. Why not? i had nothing to do and i'm able! There are so many people who wish they had enough time to workout period and so i decided not to waste the day. Usually, when you're in ketosis, you have NO appetite, but since i've been working out more...i'm alot hungrier. This poses a problem at times but i have so much self control now...i don't even know where it came from. Probably all of the constant prayer bc in and of myself i usually don't have much self control.
But yeah, today was slightly boring but im getting two great workouts by the end of it and lauren is going to make a veggie soup tonight...then we're gonna watch "Home Alone" and cozy up to the fire. They have a great christmas house. yeah its not even Thanksgiving and lauren and jonathan have decorated everything. hehe love it.
So i have officially after Monday, only 2 wks if this death phase and then i get to phase off.
Things i can't wait to eat:
-Honeynut Cheerios
-Oatmeal
-eggs
-Peanut butter sandwiches
-Bananas
-Apples
-Yogurt
-Soy Milk
-Wheat Thins with String cheese
* All relatively healthy foods...weird...this diet does that to you. it makes you appreciate the foods you took for granted. I don't think i'll have much of a taste for unhealthy food when i'm off of this. i mean "When in Rome" of course....a.k.a if im at a friend's house and they order pizza...i'll be on that like white on rice....but as far as everyday eating...im good with some oatmeal or a turkey sandwich.. i don't need Canes or bad asian food. Nope!

Day 25 of diet
Hmmmm, the weight loss has slowed down a bit. I only lost 2 pounds last week. But you know, usually when you lose 15 pounds, your body slows down the process. I decided to make some changes. You see, last week i discovered this little thing called "coffee" and im allowed to have it but i put splenda in it and apparently splenda has a few carbs. Not a huge deal, but every bit counts and theres already 7 carbs in all from whey, and 3 carbs in the veggies im allowed. So really the limit needs to stay at 13 carbs a day, but i've been having 16....
and yeah maybe i'm overreacting but at this point, im gonna try to adjust and just drink plain green tea this week and see if anything changes bc i've been working out everyday. I mean, i have to expect that i'm gaining some muscle mass bc the whey protein, working out AND the fact that i build muscle really easily.. I mean i can definitely see changes everyday but for some reason i'm a bit consumed by the number on the scale.
I just have a deadline....Dec.11 the diet is completely 100% over. So i gotta make every day count. No slip ups. I mean i haven't thus far, but it could happen if i was having a bad day---which come to think of it, i've been having a not so great week due to stress in school and the slowing down of the weight loss. Oh and lets not forget that theres chocolate everywhere...haha Whenever i get upset and want to go to food, i just pop a piece of gum in my mouth or drink crystal lite. No carbs/sugar---still tasty.
Well, we shall see how this week goes. I'll tell you Tuesday how many pounds i lost. I'm aiming for 2.5-3 pounds a week. let's hope that happens. Til then, i'll be working out longer and harder and resisting splenda. yeah...thats my diet....resisting a zero calorie sweetner.haha It'll be all worth it soon :)

So far...so great
I've lost 15 lbs so far and i have 20-25 to go. Shouldn't be too entirely difficult. i worked out alottt this weekend and my ny neck is killing me bc Will Smith's daughter has a new song called "whip my hair".....nuff said. I like to whip my hair alot anyways. Such a hazardous song.
Anyways the diet is going well....i mean don't get me wrong, Halloween was kind f difficult. My mom bought like 300 pieces of candy or more...and we didn't have that many kids so its all over the house but not gonna lie its kind of gross watching my whole family eat reeses for breakfast lunch and dinner so i dont mind resisting it. I wanna be healthy anyways so its all good.
SO i just got back from Zumba and it wasn't hard at all tonight. I think i only lost 3 pounds this week. Probably my fault bc last night i had a tablespoon of guacamole w my chicken and peppers. It doesnt have that many carbs but still...every bit counts. So today was very strict. here's what i ate:
B- whey protein, coffee
L- whey protein and zucchini
S- whey protein
D- grilled chicken and asparagus
Oh and my mom made her amazinggg tacos. As i munched on my crunchy death-sparagus, my family ate their taunting tacos. i kept chomping and hating life....but at the same time thinking i only have 3 weeks left, then i get to phase off. Oh i'm half way therrrrrre OHhHh! Livin' on a prayer!!!!!!!!
Seriously. I hate eating. There is no joy. I hate vegetables and im pretty sure im scarred for life and will never voluntarily eat zucchini or asparagus for the rest of my life. Salad isn't my fav but its okay. I miss squash.....corn.....carrots and GREEN BEANS. Oh how i took them for granted.
* I'll let ya know how much i lost tomorrow. Fingers crossed. I hope its atleast 3 if not 4 pounds but ....i can't complain.
